Now comes the exciting time because Joanna will do her magic and mix the text and the illustrations to perfection.

All the hard work is undeniably worth it when I hold the last book in my hands. I’m especially   proud to be offering my three books for sale now.

It’s been quite a journey from the first short story for adults to all the changes and tweaking to make it children-friendly and fun to read. I have learnt heaps and hope to go on learning how to maximise my presence on the web.

Visiting a small school in Mahana today, by invitation of a teacher, the 8 to 10 year olds asked me questions about how and why I wrote my books. I read them some of book two which they hadn’t read yet and they all enjoyed it.

I’ll be going back to help them write their own fairy stories and illustrate them. They are very keen writers already.

It’s great that we have such a good local printing company like Copy Press in Nelson to help authors like myself showcase our children’s books to the world!
