Half way!

This is the first stage of one of the larger crowd scenes. If you select ‘read more’ the next two paintings in the process are shown. Haven’t mastered a slide show yet!

I start by filling in the background and then the characters followed by more background.

The fun bit is defining the characters again with my permanent marker pen. Then the shading and fine tuning with a lead pencil and blending stump.

A short break now and then the final paintathon to the finish.
