16 painted 29 to go

With the deadline getting closer I am spending all my spare time in my studio – painting.

I go through such a roller-coaster of emotions as I love my drawings but get very tense around the painting process – they always seem to look worse, when painted in my eyes.

My final job is to draw into the painting again and restore the details I so love. Then I can bear to look at them again! If I tackle another children’s story with illustrations I may just do drawings. It’ll certainly be easier and less stressful.

This drawing is the next painting in line.

This strange rabbit used to be a dragon called Tooth Full, unluckily he underestimated the meanness of the witch who turned him into a drabbit. He’s not so brave as he used to be sadly, but he agrees to help the brave adventurers to ‘get’ the Spell-ing Witch.
