Checkout the latest book ‘The Spell-ing Witches’

The third and final book in The Prince and Dragon trilogy – The Spell-ing Witches.

It has been a wonderful journey from a short story to a one-off (as I thought) children’s fairy story with over 50 watercolour illustrations. And then the challenge of – can I extend this wonderful collection of characters into one other equally humorous and quirky story.

It has been interesting to observe how my ability to imagine further adventures and integrate all the established characters has grown as I was writing the next story, The Journey to Dragonsneer.

My imagination took off so much I had to write a third book to accommodate all the extra characters and adventures. So, The Spell-ing Witches was written.

Some of the children complained that the dragons had no wings so I felt obliged to create the backstory around why the dragons had no wings and then an adventure where the brave prince and dragon could go to find the witches and get their wings back.

The story is written, edited and the drawings (54 of them) done. Now I’ll transfer the drawings onto good watercolour paper and paint them all.

I’m working towards a release date of the beginning of October 2024.
